The trifold American flag and undamaged American flag are junk items in Fallout 4. Fallout 4's reimagining of the Power Armor from a regular suit that just has a higher damage threshold and higher damage resistance to an actual walking tank is the one of the best changes in Fallout 4 and the most lore friendly change Bethesda themselves have made so far.
